The Situation
A British national who had lived in Chiang Mai for seventeen years passed away with a condominium, a vehicle, and a bank account in Thailand. His adult children were based in the UK and had no familiarity with Thai legal processes.
What We Did
We explained the Thai probate process to the family remotely, prepared the necessary court application, and liaised with the Land Department on the property transfer. We also assisted in locating a UK-side probate solicitor for the other assets.
