1. Definitions

• "Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions, together with any engagement letter or fee agreement executed between you and us.
• "Services" means the legal services described on this website and in any engagement documentation.
• "User" / "You" means any person who accesses this website or engages our Services.
• "We / Us / Our" means Tawee Legal, a law firm operating in Bangkok, Thailand.
• "Content" means text, documents, images, and other material on this website.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or engaging our Services, you indicate that you have read and agree to be bound by this Agreement. Use of this website is restricted to individuals aged 18 or over who have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. If you are acting on behalf of another person or an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

3. Service Description

Tawee Legal provides estate and inheritance legal services in Thailand, including Legacy Planning Consultations, Probate & Estate Support, and Comprehensive Estate Representation. Services are provided by lawyers licensed under Thai law and are available to clients in Thailand and internationally where Thai law applies to the matter.

Information on this website is for general guidance only and does not constitute legal advice. Legal advice is provided only under a formal engagement agreement.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely information relevant to their matter
• Notify us promptly of any change in circumstances affecting the engagement
• Treat our staff with courtesy and respect
• Use this website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms

You must not use this website to post, submit, or transmit any content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, design, and documentation, is the property of Tawee Legal and is protected by applicable Thai and international copyright law. You may print or save pages for personal, non-commercial reference. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of any content without written consent is not permitted.

6. Payment Terms

Service fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and stated in our published fee schedule and in individual engagement letters. Fees are payable as set out in the engagement letter. We accept bank transfer and payment methods specified in the engagement letter. Any additional costs will be discussed and agreed before being incurred. Fees for completed consultations are non-refundable. For ongoing matters, refund terms are set out in the engagement agreement.

7. Service Delivery

The scope and timeline of each engagement is documented in an engagement letter prior to commencement. We will use reasonable professional care and skill in the delivery of Services. Changes to scope are subject to written agreement. While we aim to meet estimated timelines, some steps in Thai legal proceedings are subject to third-party timing beyond our control.

8. Confidentiality

We will maintain the confidentiality of all information provided to us in the course of an engagement in accordance with our professional obligations and the Privacy Policy on this website. This obligation survives the conclusion of any engagement.

9. Disclaimers

Legal outcomes depend on many factors, including the conduct of third parties and the decisions of courts and authorities. We do not promise any particular result. General information on this website is provided for orientation purposes and does not substitute for professional legal advice specific to your circumstances.

This website is provided "as is". We make no warranty about its accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you in connection with Services shall not exceed the fees paid to us for the specific matter giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss. Nothing in this clause limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including natural events, technical failures, or decisions of public authorities.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tawee Legal from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of this Agreement or misuse of our Services or website, to the extent permitted under Thai law.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement by written notice. On termination, fees for work completed to date are payable. We may cease providing Services if you fail to provide required information, act in a way that would compromise our professional obligations, or do not settle outstanding fees after notice.

13. Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we will first seek an amicable resolution through direct discussion. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Clients with concerns about our conduct may also raise matters with the Lawyers Council of Thailand.

14. General Provisions

This Agreement, together with any engagement letter, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to do so in future. You may not assign rights under this Agreement without our prior written consent.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website following such an update indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
